You asked:

As an advisory non-departmental public body, could you tell me, is the Scottish Commission on Social Security Christmas party funded by staff, or the organisation? Has this changed in the past 2 years? Has this been at the request of Scottish Government?

The answer to your question is the Scottish Commission on Social Security (SCoSS) has not held a Christmas party in the past two years. Accordingly, there has been no change in the past 2 years and no request been received by SCoSS relating to the holding of a Christmas party from the Scottish Government.

In line with Scottish Government policy, Christmas parties or other social gatherings are not funded by SCoSS. Should an event take place, it would be organised and funded personally by members of the Secretariat.
